How did your Studio Mouthy fashion
range come about? I started it six
months ago with my mum. There’s
a summer boho vibe going on with
floaty festival-type dresses plus a
loungewear look. I love being in
business with my mum. She’s my
best friend and has always
supported me in everything
I do. But it’s a family affair.
My brother’s girlfriend, Jordan,
works for us, my dad does
some of the deliveries and
our warehouse is near
where we live in Essex.
You have a beauty
range too... I’ve
always been a fan of

Megan, 26, always wanted to be a singer and
went to Ravenscourt Theatre School and, later,
the Arts Educational School, both in London.
After reaching the semi-finals of Britain’s Got
Talent as part of musical duo Harmony, she
found TV success on Ex On The Beach, Big
Brother, The Only Way Is Essex and her own
reality show, There’s Something About Megan.
She supported Michael Bublé at last year’s
British Summer Time Hyde Park and released
her debut album, Story Of Me, in December.
She is currently on a UK tour. Megan is single
and lives in Essex with her toy poodle Daisy.
How would you describe your style? Not like
anyone else. I love relaxed loungewear for day
then glitz and glam for evening, especially
onstage when my extrovert side comes out.
Which colours and shapes suit you best?
I prefer lighter colours, whites, creams, blush
pink – they go with my new blonde hair. I love
an oversized hoodie and slouchy trousers.
Which is your favourite fashion era? The 70s
for the hippy boho vibe, spilling into the 80s
and 90s. Last year I performed at a few
festivals and wore fringed tops and flares.
Has Nashville influenced your fashion
choices? Definitely. Aged 10 I attended a
music audition and an American judge said
I should think about singing country music.
I really got into it. I went to Nashville two years
ago to make my TV programme. I picked up
some key country pieces – flared jeans, cowgirl
boots, rhinestones and put my own twist on
them. I love the chilled, laid-back feel.
What are you wearing onstage on your Story
Of Me tour? I’ll change outfit every night, but
mostly a variation on a glam sequin trouser
suit with cowboy boots. Plus my customised
Swarovski crystal microphone.
