Webinars aren’t perfect, especially when delivered live. You might be
sick, you might be coughing, there might be some noise in the
background. Don't worry about it.
In that fast action bonus webinar, the one that I continue to reference, the
one that got 52% conversions? I coughed through the whole thing. I tried
to cover it up at the mic, but sometimes I couldn’t.
The Internet might cut out. Don’t worry about it. Don’t let it ruin your
day.
Not everyone’s going to be able to hear you or see your presentation, and
every once in a while, you're going to see something in the question box
like, “Oops! Audio just cut out!” from one person. That doesn't mean
everybody can’t hear you. It just means that one person can’t hear you.
Sometimes, there will be people left out. Again, that's just a fact of
having live calls.
Sometimes, there will be nasty comments. Some people are not going to
like something you say, and they will be verbal about it. There might be
people deliberately trying to sabotage you in a minor way. Other product
owners might be in there, trying to derail you in the middle of your
presentation. That happens too. Don’t let it bother you.
If you’re doing it live, tell people that. Say, “I’m sorry. This isn’t
automated. It just kind of comes with the territory.” People understand.
