A couple of
love birds
I stitched this design from
issue 259 as a great quick
anniversar y card for my
husband. I changed a few
colours and the sentiment
at the bottom to suit. I’m
really happy with the result!
Christine Rembo, Hove
Katie says: You should be,
Christine! It really works well
with the lacy borders you’ve
given it. Happy anniversar y!
A roaring request
I wanted to show you my completed quilled dragon from issue
257 , by Fiona Baker. My 13 -year-old daughter loved it so much
that she begged me to stitch it for her. Never before have
I stitched a project completely in backstitch so this was
a challenge for my eyes and mind, but I did it in just over
a month! I’m ver y happy with the finished piece and can’t
wait to frame it
for my daughter’s
bedroom wall.
Tanya Carlin,
Australia
Alison says: It looks
amazing, Tanya!

it measures 21.5x29.5cm (8½x11½in).

Seeing double
Hello! I thought I’d share what I’ve just
finished stitching with you. It’s the
double of my little dog Penny! I’d love
for it to be featured in Crazy magazine.
Thank you in advance!
Amy Towler, Hexham
Emily says: You’re right, Amy, it’s
uncanny! I like the little adaptations
you made to the Yorkshire Terrier Paw

a perfect match of your little Penny.
