“When sewing up your purse, be sure to
use a blunt needle so that you don’t
pull or catch your knitted pieces.”

KNITTING
To use your yarn double,
simply take two strands, hold
them together and treat them
as one strand when you knit.
As this is a colour-change
yarn, it’s possible to create
diferent efects with two
strands. Start by winding of
45g of yarn into a second ball.
If you want a mixed ombré
colour, start knitting with the
loose end. If you want to
match the colour, rewind the
second ball, then adjust your
start point so it matches the
colours on the original ball.

    TO MAKE UP
    With right sides facing, join
    bottom corner seams on each
    panel to create boxy shape.
    Sew two panels together
    between points A on template.
Pin opening to bag frame and
back stitch in place with four
    strands of thread. Ease edge
into frame as you go. Using
    template, cut two pieces of
    interfacing and press them
onto wrong side of lining fabric.
Trim fabric margin back to 6mm
all round and tack to back. With
    right sides facing, join bottom
    corner seams, then slip stitch
    two covered pieces together
    between points A. Slip inside
bag, pin to opening and slip
stitch in place 3mm from frame.
Sew ribbon over top edge as a
