Try a tasting in a shed
The outdoor tasting shed at
Lancaster Wines is we l l k n ow n,
not because it is an outdoor
tasting shed but because of the
camaraderie that it effortlessly
symbolises. Located on the banks
of the Swan River, Lancaster produces its own outstanding wines off some of the
oldest vines in the valley. The wine tasting is free, alongside a gourmet selection
of local cheeses, but these guys are not really taking the risk you think they are –
they offer excellent deals that will make you want to throw a party. Take a tip
from us: the Reserve Chardonnay and the chilli and pepper cheddar are keepers.
