aving visited The Oaks

in Greyton, South Africa,

Robert and I knew that

we wanted to get married there

one day. The venue is set against

the backdrop of the Zonderend

Mountains, and perfectly combines

style, natural beauty and tranquility.

I wanted to have a simple yet

stylish wedding where everything

worked together to provide a

romantic and welcoming feel. The

main colours were duck egg blue

and purple. I worked with a local

company, Flamboijant, who provided

the flowers and decorations. All the

flowers were seasonal I loved the

combination of Christmas roses,

lavender and succulents, and all our

guests commented on them.

One of my favourite details

were our invitations, which were

painted by a South African painter,
