(in the Jungle Café)
James: Hi, Tina. What’s that?
Tina: It’s a gift for my friend’s son.
He’s starting school this week.
James: What grade is he in?
Tina: He’s in 6th grade.
James: So this is his last year in
elementary school.
Tina: No. He’s in middle school now.
James: Oh. In Asia, students start
junior high school in 7th
grade.
Tina: That’s interesting.

He’s in 6th grade.
