THE MILL
Originally a wool mill built in 1875, The Mill
is now the creative hub of Castlemaine –
an iconic collection of heritage buildings
housing a collaborative group of local busi-
nesses such as vintage clothing and col-
lectables, local makers and more delicious
food and drink than you can shake a hand-
crafted stick at. Opened by local farm-
ers keen to give Castlemaine businesses
a place to thrive, the precinct is now the
home of many eclectic offerings including
Backpedal Bicycle Co., Castlemaine Vin-
tage Bazaar, The Drying Shed Art Space,
Boomtown Wine, Sprout Bakery, Wonder-
pants, Woolykins and Mimosa Botanicals.
