Billing itself as Australia’s first vegan bed
and breakfast, Bed and Broccoli is nestled
in over 60 acres of bushland set a mere 15
minutes from Castlemaine. The accommo-

THEATRE ROYAL
This Castlemaine stalwart is housed in an iconic building
that’s been standing since 1855. Offering films and live
shows from both local and globally renowned musicians
and comedians, other events have included a Reconcilia-
tion Film Festival and a performance by the Soweto Gospel
Choir. Set within the Theatre Royal is restaurant Bistro Lola,
serving up local and seasonal European fare.
