Use a 9/16" wrench to remove the front and rear
mounting nuts on the floorboard bracket.
Use two 1/2" wrenches to remove the front exhaust
mount.
Detach the brake light switch spring by unhooking it
from its attachment point on the brake rod.

Use a pair of needlenose pliers to remove the cotter pin on the rear brake rod where it attaches to the brake
crossover rod.
