his year has lown by,
I cannot believe I am
writing the September
introduction to the Czech
News Column, but here we
are. As I write this, the next
major show which SAMI is
attending is the IPMS US
Nationals in Chattanooga.
This show will see the release
of the brand new 1/48 scale
Mustang from Eduard. We
were really lucky to receive
an advance sample of this
fantastic new kit, so see page
76 in this issue for a irst look.
Although this new Mustang
is the stand out release forthis month, we do have other
exciting news from other
manufacturers, for instance,
who would have thought we
would have a mainstream 1/72
scale kit of a Twin Pioneer?
In other news E-Day is
getting nearer, this year marks
10 years since my irst visit
to this show and I still look
forward to it with the same
enthusiasm and anticipation
as that irst visit! I think
some irms are waiting for
the show to announce new
kits but if you read on, we do
have some interesting news to

it does look very nice. If it builds as

is progressing well with the
modelling of the wheel wells
and undercarriage legs almost inished.
This is going to be a beast of a kit, so start

ast month I hinted we may
be getting a Letov S31 from
Brengun, well we might
still be, but in the meantime, we
can expect to see a Letov S4, in1/72 scale as a resin kit. My 1/72
scale Czechoslovak air force is
slowly getting bigger and this
kit of this pretty single seat
