paint chips in high wear areas. All the position
lights were then suitably painted and mounted.
The separately assembled rotors were then
weathered and mounted. For the 7.62mm
miniguns I used some RB Models barrels and I
also added the etched gun belts and connected
these to the ammunition boxes in
the crew compartment. On
the outer portions of thepylons I added the huge M261 rocket pod on
the one side, and Hellire’s and launchers on the
other. The rocket pod and the Hellire’s were
painted in olive green, weathered with dark
grey washes and dry-brushed with light beige
pigments. With all of the weaponry added,
my ‘Little Bird’ was complete. This kit is highly
