about how their day was
going or how their weekend
was. It was nice to have that
family atmosphere.”
The actor learned a lot
from his time at DAYS. First
and foremost, “I can memo-
rize things really quickly. I’ll
tell you that much,” Adams
laughs. “It was also nice to
[learn to be] really within
yourself in a scene, because
in daytime you don’t get to
rehearse it a 100 different
times before you film it. You
run the lines every once in a
while, but then you just have
to play it as real as you pos-
sibly can. It was nice to fly
by the seat of your pants all
the time.”
As for what he’ll miss
most about the gig, Adams
says, “Everybody. I would
always say hi to everyone as
soon as I walked in. It was
nice to have conversations
with everybody. You could
sit down and talk to everyone
in the cast about anything,
and especially the hair and
makeup department. I was
always in there when I wasn’t
doing anything and literally
talked to everyone.”
Since leaving the show,

Adams reports that he’s
stayed in touch with the entire
DAYS gang. “I’m play-
ing golf with Eric Martsolf
[Brady] tomorrow,” he
shares, noting that the co-stars
he grew closest to during his
time on the soap were Olivia
Rose Keegan (ex-Claire) and
Victoria Konafel (Ciara).
“They were the ones I spent
the most time with on the set,
so we became very close. We

That was the whole reason
Tripp came to Salem.”
But since Adams was
told that the door has been
left open for his character
to return at some point, the
possibility for a father-and-
son reunion exists. “That was
the reason Tripp was sent
to medical school and why
they didn’t want to neces-
sarily kill him off,” explains
Adams. “They wanted there
to be an opportunity where
he could easily come back.
And there’s a hospital in
Salem. So things have very
much been left open.”
In the interim, Adams,
who actually finished film-
ing in February, has been
keeping busy both person-
ally and professionally. “My
girlfriend [actress Shelby
Wulfert] and I have been
traveling back and forth just
seeing family,” he shares.
“And we had a wedding to
go to about a month ago. I
also filmed a Lifetime movie
called KILLER RANSOM.
I play kind of a not-so-good
person. I kidnap someone’s
daughter and then hold her
for ransom. It was an inter-
esting role.”

used to sit around in one of

that I was the older brother all

The only regret Adams
has about leaving DAYS is
that he won’t get to reunite
on-screen with his TV dad,
Nichols, who’ll be returning
to the show. “Yeah, 100 per-
cent,” admits Adams. “I had
already left the show when I
found out he was returning. I
was really disappointed about
that because I wish that good-
bye could have happened.
