Richard Spreckley from Tangmere Sector modellers built this fully loaded and opened up 1:48 scale
F-35B Lightning II

This beautifully fi nished 1:72 Avro Shackleton by Ben Lavender was on the Medway modellers club
display tables.

Somewhat dominating the West Kent Modellers stand was this imposing Tamiya 1:32 McDonnell
F-15E Strike Eagle.

This 1:48 MiG-21 was suitably fi nished in a convincing multi-tonal natural metal fi nish.

Something a little different was a 1:48 diorama of a fi re dump Jet Provost T.4 on the East Kent
Scale Modellers tables.

Quite a convincing “What if?” scheme applied to an Airfi x 1:48 Folland Gnat, complete with AIM-9
Sidewinder missiles under the wings.

Tangmere Sector modellers showed what can be done with the much maligned Kittyhawk 1:48
SEPECAT Jaguar GR.3, completed in a 54 Squadron markings and temporary winter exercise
scheme.

The Trumpeter 1:32 A-6E Intruder is a massive model even with its wings folded! Finished as a
machine from VA-34 Blue Blasters, this one was completed by Paul Hutton from the West Kent
modellers.
