Michael Dunlop on the Paton SC-
Project Reparto Corse and Jamie Coward on
his SB Tuning CMS KM Electrica Kawasaki. The two were separated
by 0.10 mph (0.16 km/h) at the finish with Michael Dunlop taking the
victory with a speed of 121.65 mph (195.77 km/h).
The battle for the final spot on the podium was quite intense, with
six riders vying for it. Ultimately, it was Lee Johnston on his Ashcourt
Racing Kawasaki who came out on top to take third place. He was
followed by Paul Jordon of RC Express Dafalbet Devitt Racing,
Michael Rutter on Bathams KMR Kawasaki, Paton SC-Project
Reparto Corse’s Dunlop teammate Stefano Bonetti, Gary Johnson on
the KMR Kawasaki, and Peter Hickman on the Norton Motorcycles
bike. All these six riders were within a mere 1.3 mph (2.09 km/h) of
one another.
Dunlop rode a stellar race to ensure his victory in the Bennetts
Lightweight category. This was the sole victory for the Northern
Irishman called the “raging bull” in this year’s TT. Dunlop has 19
victories to his name in this event and the Dunlop family is quite
possibly the most legendary family of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy.T

emission prototype electric motorcycles compete
for one lap of the famed course. Electric
motorcycle builders from across the world battle it
out and showcase their engineering prowess with
these clean energy motorcycles.
Ian Lougher on the team Mirai with ILR Idaten X RE rode
a great race to take third place. The race for victory was fought between TT
legend John McGuinness and his Banthams Mugen teammate, Michael
Rutter.
Michael Rutter went through the Sulby speed trap at a 176 mph (283.24
km/h), faster than the supersport bikes on that day. With that pace the
Banthams Mugen rider took victory with an average speed of 121.9 mph
(196.17 km/h), edging out the legend and teammate McGuinness who
clocked 120.9 mph (194.56 km/h).
The SES TT Zero class started in 2010 and has been getting quicker and
