Imagestabilisation
Whetherin-lensorin-camera,
imagestabilisation(IS)is
a fantasticwayof keeping

Stabilisationmodes
Onsomelongtelephotolenses,
imagestabilisationcancomein
twoorthreetypes.First,by
stabilisingthehorizontaland
verticalaxes.Second,byonly
stabilisingoneaxis(usually
vertical),leavinghorizontal
movementsalone(greatfor
panningshots).Andfinally,where
stabilisationisn’tpresentuntilthe
shutterreleasebuttonis fully
depressed.Thisis usefulwhenIS
