Some visitors travelledagreat distance to attend
the enthusiasts’ day. Davi dBruce droveall th eway
to NewMilto nfromasfar awayas John o’ Groats in
Scotland.
However, John Crain (who hasa1953 pre-unit
Triumph engined Rickman whichhas raced the Baja
4000)flew especiallyall thewayfromCalifornia to
the event and hewasawarded atrophyfor having
travelled the furthest.
It wasatrulywonderful day, bringing together
people who continue to be connected with the
Rickman motorbikes, but also the newgeneration of
enthusiasts that will continue to keepthe Rickman
flame alight.
Heartfelt thank-yous go to Don and Derek, who are
both legends and twoofthe nicest menyoucould
ever wish to meet.
The next Rickman enthusiasts’event is scheduled
for June 21, 2020, of course at SammyMiller’s
Museum, NewMilton.We look forwardtoseeingyou
all again.
