and
can prevent us from being happy.
We should focus on ourselves and be
happy with who we are before we can
expect others to make us happy.
If we’re satisfied with ourselves and
what we do, it shouldn’t matter what
others think of us. We need to live life to
the fullest while we still have a chance
to enjoy our lives.

EPHRAIMMATHOMBA,RUSTENBURG
We have all been eagerly awaiting the
day former president Jacob Zuma would
appear before the Zondo commission.
Now that it’s dominating the news,
we’ve stopped paying attention to the
new cabinet or what our current leaders
should do to take us forward as a nation.
Although we’re curious about how the
state was captured, life must go on and
we must still focus on nation-building.
We mustn’t forget the responsibility of
eradicating poverty and fighting crime
while we’re looking back.
There’s a lot that the new cabinet is
trying to do to improve the lives of South
Africans but our news and conversations
are dominated by controversial leaders
and the government’s failures.
Let’s allow the justice system to do it’s
job while we focus on solving problems.
The media should also report positive
things about good leaders.
