to wield the welder. It was totally
rust free. Soon it was resplendent in
a new coat of paint, a combination of
Velvet Green (L512) and Pearl White
(L82), just as it had been originally.
Amazingly the paint you see in the
pictures is the self-same application
of 2000 vintage.
Ah, so when Ron painted the van,
he replaced all the rubbers, you’ll
say. Not a bit of it, with the exception
of the skylights and the screen,
which were both a ‘bit dry’, and the
pop-outs that only were dealt with
externally, everything else is original
and we mean everything, door shuts,
the works, each carefully removed
in the stripping process and restored
to their original locations afterward
paint had been applied.
And so to the sunroof and the
interior, the former was torn in
one or two places so Ron replaced
the canvas (but not the associatedSpot the
