played a version of ourselves?”
Where we can kind of poke fun at
the story lines, the backstage
drama, and say, “We’re in on it.”
BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN It’s kind of
like Larry David on Curb Your
Enthusiasm. He’s Larry David, he’s
the creator of Seinfeld and all that,
but that’s not his [real] wife, that’s
not his house, that’s not his car.
We’re making it separate enough
where it doesn’t remind people of
my actual marriage with Megan
[Fox]. That’s why La La [Anthony,
who plays Green’s wife] is so great.
You get to play a little more, and
people hopefully won’t be going,
“Oh, well, is that something going
on in their real marriage?”
JASON PRIESTLEY Brandon Walsh
is still working at the Peach Pit,
which is hysterical! It’s a long story.
You’ll see. One thing I can guaran-
tee is that the show will not be what
people are expecting.
Back in the day, some fans were as
interested in the cast’s personal
dynamics as in the action onscreen.
How is everybody getting along?
T. S. Life changes so much—it’s such
a different dynamic. And I have so

all really good parents, and great
husbands and wives.” But then on
the other hand, you have this part
of you that you revert back to, espe-
cially [at] first. I would find myself
being like this 16-year-old Tori on-
set, and I was like, “Wait, are the
guys talking about me?” I was like,
“Oh my God, I’m a woman with five
kids.” And Jennie and I are having
the best time with Gabrielle. I
mean, she always says, “I was so
much older than you guys.”
G.C. I had to lie about my age! That
was always a hard thing because I
was 10 years older than everybody.
When I got the role, a lawyer told
me I could sign a contract and
state a different age, as long as it
was over the age of 21. When [my
real age] did come out, the show
was just starting to take off and my
character was established enough
that they did not fire me. But a pro-
ducer did say to me, “You’re lucky
we didn’t know your age when we
hired you.”
B.A.G. I was 17 when the show
