powered by a JetCat P160 turbine
engine. With an 85-inch span, the jet is
95 inches long and weighs 45 pounds.
Jorge used a Futaba 18MZ radio and
earned a fi nal score of 120.683 points.
PRO-AM SPORT JET CLASS
Pilots in this class, must have already placed
(twice!) in the top three spots of an AMA
competition or in the top 30 percent of a Top Gun
field. Each pilot is awarded 25 static points for
showing scale documentation;
this is added to the average
of the best three (out of
four) flight rounds for
the total score. This
year, there were seven
pilots entered in the class.
