WESTON’S BI-CENTENARY
DOUBLE CENTURY!
The famous South Coast gun shop, C & H Weston, celebrates
its bi-centenary with a specially-commissioned rifle
F
rom its origins in East
Sussex, to its current home
in Brighton, C & H Weston has
been supplying shooters’ needs
for over 200 years. That’s an
extremely impressive bit of trading
history, and Ivan Mather, the
shop proprietor, is rightly proud
of it, but the C & H Weston of
today is concentrating on getting
geared up for the future. New knife
display cabinets have just been
installed, and the shop stocks a huge
range of airguns and accessories for
the modern shooter, in addition to a
fascinating selection of vintage guns.
COMMEMORATIVE RIFLE
To commemorate the bi-centennial, Ivan has
commissioned a superb, limited edition BSA
R-10 SE, and these really are something
extremely special. Italian stock maestros,
Minelli, really pulled out the stops on this one,
and the super-hi-gloss finish to that
ambidextrous walnut woodwork has to be seen
to be appreciated.
Only 50 of these £999 superguns will be
made, 30 in .177 and 20 in .22, and
advance orders are already coming in,
so if you want one, you’ll need to call
Ivan and the team to place your
reservation.
FEATURES
Features include a chrome bolt handle, trigger
guard and sling studs, plus laser engraving
on the stock and some tasteful etching on
the action. Ivan chose the Super Carbine
format for the commemorative rifle, and
it will be presented with a BSA Optics
3-9 x 50 scope and one-piece
mount, two, 10-shot magazines,
BSA’s renowned CCS shroud and
silencer system, a fully-padded Negrini
hard case, and a certificate of
authenticity, individually signed by
the MD of BSA and Ivan. Everyone
who has seen this rifle has been »
Ivan (on the right) and his team can supply your
every airgunning need.
Signed by the MD of BSA, and Ivan
