Lacey – Stacey Fowler in the

BBC1 soap – had her first tragic

miscarriage not long after the

couple’s wedding in Ibiza in 2017.

Matt said: “I think everything

happens for a reason and it does

make Dusty being here more

special – we’re so lucky to have

her in our lives.”

The EastEnders star, 31, and

husband Matt Kay welcomed

Dusty Violet Kay into the world

earlier this month.

Her arrival was extra special

for the couple following the

heartache of two miscarriages in

the past two years.

Lacey told OK! magazine

about her daughter’s adorable

name, saying: “It wasn’t on our

list but we did an internet search

for ‘pretty girls’ names’ and we

The pair confirmed they were an item

in March, following the star’s split from

her ex, personal trainer Sam Tucknott.

The normally tight-lipped Luton-born

presenter revealed she and Kevin have

turned down big money offers for

interviews about their romance.

She added: “Kev and I have agreed not

to go into too much detail about our

private lives because you can’t really

indulge that and then ask for privacy.”

Stacey, who left school with no quali-

fications, has signed a £250,000-a-year

golden handcuffs deal with the BBC.

She hit back at critics who claim she

has given up on her serious work for life

as a celebrity.

“I said no to a lot of things I didn’t

believe in,” she told the Guardian. “It’s

not that I’m holier than thou, it’s just

that it wasn’t for me.”
