Rahul Dravid was one of the best players
to don Indian jersey. The right hand bats-
man was a prolific scorer in the Test match-
es and one-day internationals. Nevertheless,
he has one complaint against his old team-
mate. The former Indian
skipper was recently
interviewed by Gaurav
Kapur, who is the host of
Breakfast with
Champions. During their
conversation, Dravid
revealed that Harbhajan
Singh once rated him as
the worst dressed person
in the Indian side. “Next
time I meet him I need
to talk about this, it’s an
issue I have with him.
Somebody asked him
who’s the worst dressed
individual in the Indian team and he told
me,” said Dravid.

A plane flying political banners over the
Cricket World Cup match between India and
Sri Lanka in Leeds has irked the
International Cricket Council again. The
plane has passed Headingley stadium towing
banners reading, “Justice for Kashmir,” and
“India stop genocide & free Kashmir.”
Midway into Men in Blue’s run chase, a third
aircraft was also seen with a banner - ‘Help
End Mob Lynching in India’. A plane trailed
another political banner over Headingley
during the Pakistan-Afghanistan match last
weekend. The ICC said it was disappointed
with the latest incident.

In Men in Blue’s game against
Bangladesh at Edgbaston, an elderly lady
as old as 87, who was identified as
Charulata Patel came cheering for the
Men in Blue. Players were so touched by
her presence that Virat and Rohit Sharma
went to meet her after India defeated
Bangladesh by 28 runs. Virat Kohli had
promised her tickets for the remaining
matches of Team India and he did not dis-
appoint. The governing body of Indian
cricket tweeted a photo of the super fan
watching the game at Headingley.

Yuzvendra Chahal
bowled well against
Bangladesh in the
ongoing World Cup.
After India’s triumph,
he went on to inter-
view KL Rahul for
Chahal TV. During
the course of the
interview, Virat Kohli
made his presence
felt. Chahal who was
hosting the show
seriously turned his
attention towards
the Indian cap-
tain and said,
“Puri koshish
kar rahe hai
Chahal TV me
ghusne ki. Mein ne
inhe gussa liya fir
bhi”. Kohli responded
quickly and said,
Mujhe aana nahi hai,
mujhe isne (Rahul)
bulaya tha” Chahal
was once again upto
the task and pulled
Virat’s leg. Ye scheme
hai Chahal TV mein
aane ki. Kaisi tadap
hoti hai logo
ko Chahal TV
pe anne ki”.

Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh,
who celebrated his 34th birthday last
week, shared his first look as Kapil Dev
from the upcoming movie, 83. He is play-
ing the role of former Indian skipper, who
led India to first World Cup glory in 1983.
In the picture, he is looking intense and is
wearing a white jersey. He met Kapil Dev
for continuous 10 days in order to know
about his personality. Ranveer was trained
by the cricketer himself in Dharamshala.
