ISLE OF MULL
Red deer, a variety of birds and otters
are just some of the species to be
found on this Scottish island.

This location on the Severn Estuary is
a home from home for many British
ornithologists, and provides a habitat
for wildfowl and migratory birds.

A wide range of hardy wildlife can be
found across this vast and rugged
moorland. Much of it has four legs
- wild ponies, roe deer and foxes.

Newborough Forest and Warren,
on the island’s southernmost corner,
is a great place to catch wading birds
and red squirrels.

SNOW MONKEYS (JAPAN)
You’ll have to be quick to catch them
this year, as the ideal time is December to
March. The Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park,
in Nagano Prefecture, is an ideal location.

These photogenic creatures only live
in the Arctic. Canada, Norway and Alaska
are just three places where you’ll see them.

PENGUINS (ANTARCTICA)
These pretty and engaging mammals
are hard to avoid in Antarctica, although
they also live in warmer places. It’s a long
way away, so perhaps one for the bucket list!

Track reindeer in the wild – Rovaniemi
is the gateway to this huge expanse
of land in northern Finland.
