Share your notes
You can now share notes with others,
either as View only or with the ability to edit.
Click the Share icon, choose which method you
want to use (Mail, AirDrop, Messages, etc), set
the Permission level, and click Share.


Share folders
You can also share entire folders with
others. Hover over a folder to see the options.
Click Add People and choose how to send the
message folder — by Mail, Messages, AirDrop,
or more. You can also edit permissions here.

GENIUS TIP

Shared notes can be
accessed only by people
with an iCloud account. If
the recipient doesn’t have
an Apple device or iCloud
ID, they won’t be able to
see or edit them.

FOLDERS
You can now house
collections of notes within
folders. Create as many as
you want and sync with
your devices over iCloud.


CONTINUITY
CAMERA
Use Continuity Camera
to take a photo, scan
a document, or sketch
from your iPhone or iPad.

SHARE NOTES
You can share your
notes either as View
only, or allow others
to make changes.

ATTACHMENTS
You can now view all
of your attachments
— including links, files,
documents, and images
— in a single space.

PROTECT
YOUR PRIVACY
You can protect sensitive
notes with a password,
or use Touch ID on newer
MacBook Pros.
