Coat one end
of the corks
with your adhesive
of choice and
place one cork
on each of the
triangle’s corners,
approximately one
inch away from
the edge.2
Clamp the
corks in place
and let the glue
dry thoroughly.3
Remove the clamps. This tool is light and
comfortable to hold. Its transparency makes it easy
to see the painting surface while working.HANDLED RULER

Cut off a small piece of cork to attach between a metal
knob and clamp, which will prevent the knob from
slipping during the clamping process. This also protects
the knob from scratches while it’s clampedtotheruler.2
Apply your
adhesive of
choice and clamp
the knob halfway
down the ruler,
using the cork as a
cushion between
the knob and
clamp. Let the
glue dry
thoroughly.3
Remove the clamp and cork. When using the
handled ruler, make sure that the painting surface is
dry since the ruler will rest directly on the canvas.Materials
· 10-inch 45/90-degree plastic triangle
· synthetic adhesive or epoxy for all surfaces
· three ½-inch long corks
