Set up and use email templates

Select a signature

Standard replies to messages and email

templates are stored as signatures in

the Mail app. Go to this menu and select

the signature to use. The content is then

inserted into the message.

We are sneakily using Mail signatures as

email templates and standard replies.

Click the ‘+’ button at the bottom of this

column and give the new signature/

template a short, but descriptive name.

Templates as signatures

Email signatures are usually short and

simple, like your name and phone number

or other contact information. However,

it is possible to insert whole emails as

signatures and use them as templates

and replies.

Paste rich text

Email messages can be

formatted as plain text

or rich text using fonts,

styles, bullets, pictures

and more. Clear this

checkbox to allow

signatures to use all of

these features or they

will be stripped out.
