locations from the ‘My
Places’ section in the iOS
Maps app? Jason Phillips
Yes it is perfectly possible. Open
the Maps app and swipe up on the
search bar and then tap on ‘My
Places’. Expand the menu of places
by dragging the top bar upwards and
then swipe left on the location that
you would like to remove. You should
then see the red ‘Remove’ option, tap

My MacBook sometimes
has trouble connecting to
my home Wi-Fi. Sometimes
it takes several attempts.
Paul Thorpe
The quickest fix that we have found
for solving Wi-Fi connection problems
is to instruct your MacBook to forget
the connection and then connect
afresh. Go to System Preferences>
Network and then click on the
‘Advanced’ button. Highlight your
network, click the ‘–’ button, then
click on the Wi-Fi icon and reconnect
to your home network.
Tap on text
Force-press on the
underlined text within a
message and this screen
will be displayed which
mocks up the event in your
Calendar app without you
having to open it.
Utilising Siri’s
intelligence
To create events from
text messages, a
text needs to contain
fundamental details
that Siri can use to
suggest an event.
This could be a date,
a day of the week,
for example. These
details are underlined.
