MORE E-SPORT TOURNAMENTS
Serie A and Infront Media have launched a new E-sports tournament
on the FIFA gaming title. Qualifying for the new eSerie A is open
to all Italian PlayStation 4 (PS4) gamers who are at least 16 years
old and seeking to represent the country’s top clubs. As the event's
exclusive media, marketing and digital partner, Infront will be charged
with overseeing the tournament, alongside Italian E-sports company
PG Esport. Infront’s contract also includes 15 days' worth of broadcast
production of all events and matches.

A South Korean court has ordered a local agency to pay two Korean
fans $312 each for "mental anguish" following Cristiano Ronaldo’s
absence in a Juventus friendly last summer. A friendly was organized
between a K-League all-star side and the Bianconeri on July 26,
which ended in a 3-3 draw. The organizer of the event, an agency
named The Fast Inc. advertised tickets on the basis that Juve star
Ronaldo would play at least a full 45 minutes. However, Ronaldo
didn’t appear in a single minute of the game.
KAPPA FOR LONGER
Napoli have agreed a two-year
extension of their kit deal with
sportswear firm Kappa until
the end of the 2021/22 season.
Financial details for the extension
have not been disclosed. However,
in Napoli’s statement announcing
the deal, they confirmed it had
been agreed in order for club
President Aurelio De Laurentiis
and Marco Boglione, President
of Kappa’s parent company,
BasicNet, to continue discussions
