‘I created the two-tone walls in our bedroom myself
over a weekend. I chalked out the straight line using
a spirit level and then painted the white to meet the
line. Letting that dry overnight I then used Frog Tape
to mark the line out and added the pink half ’‘To create a

‘This room is such an oasis for me
now. I love to come in here when
I’ve just put the kids to bed, and if
Gerard’s not home I can get straight
into bed with books and the telly. We
carried the pink theme into this room
with the two-tone wall using Dulux’s
white emulsion and Farrow & Ball’s
Calamine. My painting which I hung
over the bed was inspired by some
ranunculus I have in the studio.’
