used to hang around with older friends
who already owned scooters and were
into the scene, and used to ride up and
down past the local arcade, where as
teenagers we hung out. My older
brother wasabig fan of The Clash and
punk music, soIwas always forced to
listen to it at home asateenager
First scooter:Iwasn’t fortunate enough
to own my own scooter until 2001,
which was an orange Lambretta GP and
Istill own it to this day

Favourite and worst rally/event:
Every rally is unique from venue to
location, soIwouldn’t sayanyhave
been bad. Favourite rally was Brewers
Droop in the 2000s whenagroup of
us, had Christmas day with all
trimmings in mid-summer!
Funniest experience withascooter:
Being dressed as Mrs Claus in the
middle of summer and jumping on the
back of my mate Jimmy Jazz’sscooter
to fetch last min roast spuds for our
Xmas dinner
What do you like about rallies/events:
Seeing mates, meeting new like-
minded people, watching the bands,
checking out the scoots and the smell
of 2-stroke
