the D-Day landings 75th anniversary
scooter ride on his series 2. Nige was on
his GP,‘In between days’. “I call it that
because it’sthe oneIridewhen I’m not
riding either of my other two scooters, a
TS225 called ‘Soul Speed’ and a
Spanish Winter model series2called
‘Pretty Patina’.”Tony was on his TS1
SX150, ‘Family Guy’. “I like cartoon
themes and this scooter was previously
called ‘Dennis the Menace’, but you have

S.C along with some of their pals fromLost and Lonely S.C.Timexplained that
the Southbank Collective wasarecently
formed club, which was the Southbank
S.C. re-born. “The club was formed in
2019 and at the moment we have 10
members.” Brydie was on her lovely
J125 Super Starstream Lambretta, and
all were ready for the day ahead.Proper old

‘Gibbo’,F.o.S. tours and the rest of the
boys who were in high spirits and getting
into party mode. They’d gathered round
Nathan’s1964Italian TV175 and with a
grin on his face, ‘Gibbo’ explained that it
was one of the lad’s,Tam’sfirst rally and
because he was sleeping in his tent it
would probably be his last! “This is a
proper old skool rally;aproperfield
rally and we love it!” they said

Reckless S.C., Bradford. All three had
ridden in on their very nicely presented
Vespas. “Wewere thinking of going to
the 60s weekend do at Howarth, but
fortunately we found out about this rally
through Facebook. It was an interesting
ride-in though.We went wrongacouple
of times andIthink we even did a
couple of laps of the racecourse!” Ash

marquee there were several dealers and
traders offering scooter clothing and
accessories, and scooter parts. In the
meantime, whilst all this was going on, a
healthy line-up of day-trippers on their
scooters had started to build up in the

‘No Lip’ came on stage early afternoon
and set things going withahighlycharged

rally-goers were getting into the
atmosphere, during which time, and with
ahealthy element of banter,Johnny
Adams announced the custom show
results. In the meantime, Glyn Holland
took to the decks in the marque andNo Lip take no nonsense.
