ABOUT THE ARTIST
STAGE 4 FINISHING TOUCHES
Floating the Big Hole, oil, 36 x 60" (91 x 152 cm)
The process continues in this way, working from the focal point out to the edges of the canvas, constantly comparing each paint stroke. I believe
that, as the artist, you decide how the viewer moves through your painting. Here I want the viewer to enter along the river, with the shore on
either side guiding you toward the head of the river and the pile of boulders, continuing up into the mountains and then back down to the river,
where the process begins again.
