WE loved the subtle inference on this t-shirt we spotted at the Club Champs.

³IHRA NZ and NZDRA Unite
GREAT news from the governing bodies controlling drag
racing in NZ. The Boards of IHRA NZ Inc and the New
Zealand Drag Racing Association Inc have agreed to hold a
joint National Drag Racing Series for the 2019/2020 season
and the 2020/2021 season. The existing NZDRA National Series and the
existing IHRA NZ National Series will be replaced by the new joint series.
A subcommittee has met, and are working hard to align class rules and
safety rules for the coming season which will culminate in the New Zealand
Nationals being held at Meremere Dragway in March 2020 and the finals at
Masterton Motorplex. Both Boards are excited to co-host this National Series
and see it as a major step forward for the sport of drag racing in New Zealand.

³LVV Standards
Open For Consultation
LVVTA are committed to a
collaborative approach in the
development and ongoing
improvement of Low Volume Vehicle Standards for modified vehicles.
This process enables the vehicle modification industry, and affected
vehicle owners and modifiers to provide their input on LVV standards
before amendments are made to them. For this, LVVTA seeks open and
honest feedback from the vehicle modification industry, and the enthusiast
sector, including suggested amendments, alterations or additions.
Documents open for consultation can also be found here: https://www.
lvvta.org.nz/documents.html#consultation They are currently consulting on
LVV Suspension Systems. All submissions received will be analysed,
and where appropriate, the submissions will be incorporated into the
LVV standards. If necessary, we will undertake further consultation
with key groups or individuals before finalising amendments.
How to Make a Submission: Submissions should be addressed to:
[email protected] Or: LVVTA Submissions, PO Box 50-600, Porirua,
Wellington 5240. Submissions must be received before 5th August 2019.

³Bomber Battery Box
THE concept of an aircraft bomber-style seat
is now well entrenched in the traditional
rodding psyche but have you ever considered
taking that concept thru to the trunk and
making a matching battery box. Frank
Wallic has done just that and has these
stunning pics to prove it’ll work a treat.
