bore. 7.2:1 compression, 160hp.
MODIFICATIONS: Edelbrock
finned alloy heads, max one grind
camshaft, Superflow Edelbrock intake,
Mallory electronic distributor.
EXHAUST: 50mm diameter headers,
Smithy mufflers all aluminium coated.
TRANSMISSION: GM S10 5-speed.
REAR END: 1940 Ford
V8 with 3.78:1 ratio.
CHASSIS: American Stamping
106 inch wheelbase.
MODIFICATIONS: Boxed rails with
Shakey crossmembers set up for Ford
Flathead V8. Chassis constructed
by Mac’s Speed in Whitford.
STEERING: RHD Vega box,
Lime Works steering column
and ‘40 Ford steering wheel.
FRONT SUSPENSION: 4-inch
dropped Magnum front axle, Magnum
forged spindles, adjustable perch
bolts, reversed eye front buggy
spring with Bilstein front shocks.
REAR SUSPENSION: Pete & Jakes
rear buggy spring with gas shocks.
BRAKES: FRONT: 1940, Ford. Macs
Speed finned alloy brake drum covers.
REAR: 1940, Ford. Macs Speed finned
alloy brake drum covers. One inch
bore dual circuit master cylinder.

PA I NT: Ford Tan two pack polyurethane
painted by Robbie Sissons Tauranga.
Wheels painted Plum colour with
matching hand painted pinstripe.
INTERIOR: Fully adjustable Glide
seat frame with leather seating
and door panels. Plum piping
matches the exterior. All trim by Ian
Handley from Ist Ave Auto Trim.

oval deuce-style gauge set with
SoCal knobs and switches.
