ELBOW LEVER & CORE PROGRESSIONS
Elbow Lever/ Bent /Straddle Leg Raises
- Using parallel bars or working from the floor, load weight onto the elbow on one side of your body,
whilst using the other arm to assist the load. - Keep your core engaged at all times, with your eyeline
looking forwards and legs slightly bent in a frog-like pose.
5. Once you have the feel for this, extend your legs straight
into a straddle. Apply the same principles and take it slowly. - Slowly and gently lift your toes off the floor. As you do
so, engage your glutes and lift your legs.
6. Ensure you maintain full engagement of your whole
body throughout the exercise. - Return your feet to the floor and repeat. 7.^ Do this for 10 reps x 5 sets.
