It’s no surprise that Nate
Berkus’ kids are creative, but
even the Nate & Jeremiah by De-
sign star, 47, didn’t expect his
daughter, Poppy, with husband Jer-
emiah Brent, to be bitten by the
design bug so young. When the
4-year-old was unhappy with the
location of a side table at home,
Nate found her “dragging it down
the hallway” to a spot she preferred.
The reality star shares more funny
moments raising the toddler and
her baby brother, Oskar, with Us.
Q: What’s your son up to?
He walks like a little old lady. That
bowling-ball head coming toward
me on two feet is the sweetest thing
in the world.
Q: What’s your favorite way to
spend time with him and Poppy?
The downtime, the moments in be-
tween, are the most special to me.
Like, when I’m walking the dog and
carrying our son, and our daugh-
ter’s holding on to my pocket.
Q: Any plans for baby No. 3?
Jeremiah would love more kids,
but I’m 47. I don’t want to be the
guy hobbling after a toddler.
Our family of four feels good.
Q: Who’s the stricter parent?
Jeremiah is extremely con-
sistent, like with no snacks
before dinner. I don’t go up
against him — ever. I think
his instincts are a little
better.
