THE DREAM OF TWO brothers, OS Pasricha and AS Pasricha, to introduce the
concept of ‘mix n match’ to offer Indian contemporary wear in a modern retail
concept came into existence in 2001 when they established the first outlet of W
in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. Within just 18 years of existence, W is regarded as one
of the largest premium ethnic and fusion wear brands for women in India with
over 300 exclusive outlets. Part of TCNS Clothing Co, which owns brands like
Aurelia and Wishful by W, the brand W is also present in Mauritius, Sri Lanka and
Kathmandu. TCNS is also focusing on opening combined outlets of W and Aurelia to
cater to a larger set of audience. It has plans to open 80 such stores in FY2019-20.
