THE ASIA’S LARGEST omni-channel baby and mother care products brand, FirstCry.com started its
journey in 2010 as an online retailer launched by Supam Maheshwari and Amitava Saha. Owned by
BrainBees Solutions, FirstCry saw huge growth with its foray into franchising to establish its offline retail
in 2011; it has expanded base to over 375 stores in just eight years. In 2016, FirstCry bought Mahindra’s
babycare business BabyOye for about Rs 362 crore. The acquisition strengthened its position as a leader
and added several stores to its network.
