OnePlus 7 Pro
The OnePlus 7 Pro is a phone of many firsts. It’s the first true full-screen OnePlus phone without a notch or cutout for
its front cam; it’s the first OnePlus phone to have screen resolution higher than 1080p; and it’s the first OnePlus phone
equipped with three cameras on the back.
The phone has a 6.67-inch, QHD+ bezel-free Fluid AMOLED screen that runs at a buttery 90Hz. Under the hood, it is
powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 with Qualcomm AI engine, and an Adreno 640 GPU. The phone is available with
128/256GB of storage, and 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM.
The aforementioned cameras include a 48MP main sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera.
Meanwhile, the selfie shooter is a pop-up 16MP unit that OnePlus claims is built to last; you could take over 150 selfies
every day for five-and-a-half years without wearing down the camera. Price is P38,990 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM
variant and P42,990 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM model.
A MORE POCKETABLE MI 9
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
It may not have the range-topping
Snapdragon 855 chipset of its
bigger brother, but the P15,990
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE does come with
the same flagship features that
make up the Mi 9: the Samsung
AMOLED display, an improved
in-screen fingerprint sensor, and
a 48MP main camera.
The Mi 9 SE is equipped with
a Snapdragon 712 processor,
an Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB RAM,
64GB storage, 3,070mAh battery,
and a 5.97-inch display with a
dewdrop-style notch where the
20MP front camera lives.
Like the Mi 9, the SE version has
three rear cameras: 13MP ultra-
wide angle, 48MP wide-angle,
and 8MP telephoto.
