Carriall's Trail has a range
of smart technology enabled
cabin as well as check-in
luggage that aims to address
the needs of a day traveller.
Crafted from premium poly-
carbonate outer material, it
has shock-absorber wheels
as well as TSA lock onboard.
The technology highlights on
the 24 inch check-in luggage
are the built-in weighing
scale and GPS enabled
Bluetooth tag. A built-in
weighing scale (an on-screen
digital weight panel display)
has been added to the main
handle on the top. Pressing
the button activates the
weighing scale. As soon as
a user lifts the luggage, the
scale displays the current
weight. The 24-inch medium
sized luggage weighs around
4.5 kg. The Bluetooth tag (a
compact device) added to the
luggage that can be paired
with the Carriall app on the
smartphone. Once paired,
the app shows the current
location of the tag and can
be used to alert the phone
if the bag moves beyond a
dedicated area. The company
also has a range of smart
cabin luggage that comes
with a USB charging feature.
