Landing Live
● FACTUAL / 7.55pm / C4
NEW
For three
minutes each
night this week, we can see
history being made. In
1969, an estimated 600
million people watched
Neil Armstrong’s first
steps on the Moon, and
these daily snippets of real
footage of the Apollo 11
mission, from launch to
landing, are intended
to re-create a similar
viewing experience for us,
50 years on. HHHLB
Long Lost Family
● REAL LIFE / 9pm / ITV
When Mark was 12 years old, he
discovered that he’d been adopted as a
baby. The news completely rocked his
world and even now, at the age of 56, he
still finds it too painful to think about and
has spent his adult life working long hours
to keep himself busy and not endlessly
wondering why his birth mother gave him
up. He knows his mum’s name and that she
was 25 when she had him, and he’s hoping
and praying that Davina and Nicky can
tell him more. The second story belongs
to 61-year-old Alice. As a child, she
remembers meeting her younger brother
Sam for just one week, then she never saw
him again. Now she wants to know if he’s
okay all these years later and if they still
share a special connection. HHHHJL
Dark Mon£y
● DRAMA / 9pm / BBC1
Has the time to tell the truth been and
gone? At last week’s premiere, child star
Isaac (Max Fincham) was devastated to
see his attacker, director and paedophile
Jotham Starr, charm, smarm and evade
confrontation. This week, Isaac turns to
drink and drugs, his brother and sister
are let in on the secret, and guilt weighs
heavier than ever on his shell-shocked
parents. The only hope now lies with
tabloid journalist Dominic – but what’s
going on behind that dodgy haircut and
unfortunate manner...? There’s nothing
subtle about this four-parter, but it’s
timely, and bravely takes on every related
issue. Concludes tomorrow. HHHHHD
Big Little Lies
● DRAMA / 9pm / Sky Atlantic
Celeste’s custody battle with Mary Louise is in full
swing, but when the stressed mother takes the stand,
her friends worry that she’ll be quizzed over Perry’s
death. Madeline, Jane, Bonnie and Renata lend their
support, but Detective Quinlan is watching their every
move. Madeline is desperate to come clean to Ed, and
with Bonnie also fantasising about confessing, it seems
that the Monterey Five’s secret could come tumbling out
before we reach next week’s finale... HHHHHRM
