LeMoyne Star block

The LeMoyne Star block is the most basic of stars

in this category, and it is versatile. If you take a

simple LeMoyne Star and work with only one-

eighth of the design and mirrors, you will be able to

transform it from its humble beginnings to some-

thing spectacular. For example, if you fracture the

eight diamonds of a LeMoyne Star, you can create

a variety of blocks. They already exist in traditional

patchwork, but that is how they were created.

The following design transforms a LeMoyne Star into a Nosegay or Cornucopia block.
To do this, I simply removed and added shapes.
