conartistsoftenlookfor
waystoisolatetheirmarksfromtheirnormalsocial
milieux,steering
themintonewenvironmentsinwhichthey
arenolonger
comfortable.Herethey
feel
weak,and
succumb
to
decep~tion
moreeasily.
Isolation,then,
can
proveapowerfulway
ofbringing
people
underyourspell
toseduceorswindlethem.Youwilloftenfindpowerfulpeople
whohavealienatedthemselvesfromthegroup.Perhaps
their
powerhas
gonetotheirheads,
andthey
considerthemselvessuperior;perhapsthey
havelosttheknackofcom-municatingwithordinary
folk.Remember:Thismakesthemvulnerable.Powerfulthoughthey
be,
people
likethiscanbeturnedtouse.ThemonkRasputingained

poweroverCzarNicholasandCzar-inaAlexandraofRussiathrough
