The Adobe
Landscape
profile is geared
towards enhancing
your outdoor photos.
It works by boosting
greens in foliage,
adding impact to
blues in skies and
lifting textured
surfaces. It’s a great
starting point for
editing your raw
landscapes.
Raws can’t be accidentally saved over or resized. They represent a pristine version of
your image as it was taken, and any edits made in Camera Raw or Lightroom can always
be changed or undone at any time. So as well as the workflow benefits, raw is in many ways
the ideal format for archiving your photos.
Many photographers are perfectly content shooting JPEGs, but it means relinquishing
control over your photos. By shooting in JPEG, you’re allowing your camera to make
decisions for you, rather than making them yourself. Shoot raw, and you take full control over
the look of your image.
