If you need to pass a image to a client
or submit it to a stock library, the raw
format gives you the most options. You can
choose a color space and output to a JPEG or
TIFF – whatever the recipient requires.

Raws can be cropped and re-cropped
non-destructively using the Crop Tool
in either Camera Raw or Lightroom, so there’s
never any danger of losing the cropped area
for good.

The output options for raws (found by
clicking Save in Camera Raw or File >
Export in Lightroom) give you handy options.
You can choose a resolution, file format or
color space, and set output sharpening. See
our sharpening tutorial later this issue.
