This feature employs machine learning
to improve the fine detail and reduce
artifacts in your images, and it’s only available
for raws. Open an image into Camera Raw
then click the top left flyout menu to apply
Enhance Details. If you’re using Lightroom,
you can simply right-click the image and
choose Enhance Details.
If you like to shoot starry skies, the
extra shadow information in raws can
prove crucial for pulling detail out of the night-
time sky. By painting over the sky here with
the Adjustment Brush loaded with positive
Exposure, Shadows and Clarity, we’re able
to enhance the area and crisp up the initially
dull stars.
While you’re editing a raw file, if you
decide you want to go back to the
beginning in Camera Raw, click the flyout
menu by the panels and choose Camera Raw
Defaults. In Lightroom, simply click the Reset
button in the Develop Module.
