THREE-TIME OLYMPIAN-TURNED-
RESTAURATEUR EAMON SULLIVAN OPENS
UP ABOUT HIS FAVOURITE HOLIDAY AND
WHY HE’LL EAT ANYTHING HEALTHY
Last word
AS TOLD TO
PAUL EWART

What’s the health
food that you
know you
should eat
more of,
but you
just can’t
stomach?
I don’t have
an issue with
stomaching anything
if I know it’s good
for me. My problem
is ensuring I have
healthy options during busy days.
If you could
head off
on holiday
tomorrow,
money no
object, where
would you go?
A tour of remote
Australia. It’s a shame
getting to the likes of
Kununurra and Darwin
is more expensive than
going overseas most of
the time.
What books are
you reading?
Mindset by Dr Carol
Dweck. It explores the
differences between
a fixed mindset and a
growth mindset. I’m a fan
of learning new ways to
do things.
If you had to
choose between a
calming yoga class
or an action-
packed boxing
session, which one
would you pick?
It depends on the day, but most
of the time I’d pick yoga.
The best trip I ever
went on was...
A holiday with mates after the 2008
Olympics. We went to eight countries
in six weeks criss-crossing
Europe. We saw so much and
met so many interesting people
- it was the trip of a lifetime.
