Take the left corner
of the diamond and
fold it across to meet
the right, and make
a creasealongthe
edge. Open the piece

on your diamond.
STEP 3
Turn the paper over
so that the colored
side is facing up.
Fold one edge to
meettheotheredge
and crease. Open
thepaperandrepeat
withtheotheredge.
Youshouldnow
haveanX-shape
creaseacrossthe
plus-signcrease.
STEP 4
The paper should
now have a concave
shape (referred to as
a “valley” in origami).
Pinchtheleft and
right sides as you
pushthem together,
sothatthepaper
takesona smaller
diamondshape,
withtwofolded-in
flapsoneachside.
STEP 5
Flip the small
diamond so that the
point is at the top and
the loose edges are at
thebottom.Raiseone
oftheflaps toward
you,open the two
edges,andpushthem
downevenlytomake
a diamondshape
resemblingthegreen
diamondsabovethe
headsoftheSims.
STEP 6
Flip the piece
over and repeat on
the opposite site.
Then repeat this
stepinthetwoside-
flap areas so that
theSims’-shaped
diamond is on both
sidesofthe figure.
STEP 1
Cut out the colored
piece of paper,
then place it, white
side up, on a flat
surface.Thepaper
should be oriented
like a diamond.
